Specializing in community engagement, issue management, and relationship building – A highly motivated individual with a passion for executing challenging tasks, Angela takes pride in her ability to maintain organization, punctuality, and a positive attitude. With a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, Angela holds a strong sense of responsibility in presenting information across various platforms and audiences.
Previous to my current role in local government, I worked as a government affairs specialist for a multinational construction startup headquartered in Menlo Park California. The company, Katerra had an ambitious and environmentally conscious approach to the construction industry. During my time at Katerra I learned much about land use policy, professional decorum, and taking on new challenges.
Since leaving Katerra, I embarked on a career pivot towards a role in the public sector. Joining the Snohomish County Council has taught me a lot about fiduciary responsibility, transparency in my work, and adapting to various communication styles. I am truly honored to serve the constituents of Snohomish County in this role and I take great pride in the work I do on behalf of the Councilmember that I represent.

A Word From a Colleague
I have the great pleasure of working with Angela on a number of initiatives at Katerra. As a startup company in an industry resistant to changer, we have had our share of challenges and Angela is instrumental in our ability to keep moving forward. She is adept at leading us through the unchartered course we are on with regard to offsite manufacturing of building products, including the introduction of cross laminated timber (CLT). Building strong relationships with both government and private industry has been key to our success and Angela has helped foster those bridges by always being thoroughly prepared and exemplifying poise and professionalism.
